FALL OF 2019 - ON MAY WAY BACK TO ALASKA... GONNA BE A LONG JOURNEY!!!

Aloha Everyone!!!

After my amazing trip in Moscow, Russia and Berlin, Germany, my vacation has finally come to an end and its now time to return back to Alaska.

My alarm goes off at 3AM, I'm already prepacked from the night before, I hit the showers and apped for an UBER and to the airport I go.

Glad I arrived at the airport early because there was a line forming!!!

After a good hour in line, I finally headed to Airport Security, handed them my passport and then they asked me several questions regarding my recent visit to Russia, after answering the security officer, I was then escorted to a private room

and then they searched my "hand luggage"

and re asked me the same questions earlier.  I answered the same as before and then they bring in a laptop and it appeared they were comparing me to whatever is on their laptop.  Its been about 20 minutes now and FINALLY they let me go and thanked me for cooperating.

It's a damn good thing I went to the airport early because more than likely I would have missed my flight to London.

I'm just a tiny bit upset, kinda wanted to flip out in the interrogation room

but I kept it cool...

so yeah...  that all just happened because I'm a very unique, charming, handsome kinda guy.

So I rushed to my gate so I don't miss my flight...

and I literally just made it!!!

So I boarded the plane and took a "fake smile" selfie!!!

And we are airborne and heading to London, one down and three more to go!!!

Its an hour long flight and we landed in London, I have an 8 hours lay-over so I don't have to rush, THANK GOD!!!

And now I am passing through another security check-point.

and guess what...  I'm interrogated AGAIN!!!  Same EXACT questions from BERLIN!!!  Got upgraded to a VIP Room all to myself with the nicest people accompanying me, this is so AWESOME!!!

45 minutes later...  I'm free to go and was given a polite "Welcome to London"

I need a drink!!!

MAKE THAT 3 DRINKS ALL TOGETHER!!!

For the next 6 hours, I logged onto the airport free WiFi and updated both my iphone and ipad and stuff.  Grabbed a bite at a nearby cafe and before you know it, its time to board my jet.

ITS AN 11 HOUR FLIGHT!!!

 Its my first time flying with Air New Zealand and I love them!!!  First of all, I'm flying on Coach Stand-By and being a big guy, the seat was very comfortable and spacious, the foods was pretty good too and they fed you twice!!!  The Flight Attendants are on top of it, they are fast, polite, and always checking up on us, I can imagine how great First Class Service must be!!!  

I watched 4 movies, fiddled on Facebook using the free hi-speed internet WiFi, etc.

Before you know it, we are landing in Los Angeles, California and it didn't feel like 11 hours at all.  So I get off the jet and it feels good to stretch out and then this...

FML!!!  I'm already expecting the same thing is gonna happen to me like Berlin and London... and the lines is super long!!!

I've been in line for about 30 minutes and finally I'm in front of an agent and I'm already prepared for what's about to happen.  He looks at me and he looks at my passport and then looks back at me and says...  

"WELCOME HOME" and he waives me through!!!

YES!!!  YES!!!  YES!!!

I'm back in the United States and now everything gets easier from here on out!!!  A have a 3 hour layover which is good for me to readjust myself to the timezone.  I'm back to TSA Pre-Check, cleared through with no issues and headed to my gate and boarded my beloved airline, Alaska Airlines to Anchorage, Alaska!!!

Thank GOD its a RED EYE flight and direct to Alaska with no stop over in Seattle.  

3 down and 1 more to go and I slept the entire flight.

Landed in Anchorage, Alaska and although I miss Russia and Berlin, I was happy to be back home, well almost, LOL!!!

My connecting jet to Bethel, Alaska was only 45 minutes layover and before you know it, I board my jet, an hour later, I'm home in my bed sleeping peacefully before going back to work in 8 hours at Alaska Airlines, my favorite job in the world!!!

LIFE IS GOOD FOR THE DEBONAIR TRAVELER!!!

FALL OF 2019 - ALOHA A HUI HOU E MOSCOW, RUSSIA, BERLIN HERE I COME!!!

Aloha Everyone!!!

As I arrived at the Sheremetyevo A.S. Pushkin Airport...  I stayed outside for a little bit before I entered into the airport because that is it once I enter, security is stricter than United States.

Checked In and got a Caramel Frap at Starbucks.

Went through security with no issues and boarded my jet to Berlin, Germany.

Aloha A Hui Hou e Moscow, Russia!!!

 Slept through the entire flight and looked out my window.

Berlin is cloudy with scattered showers.

Arrival was a piece of cake with no issues and I got me an UBER and checked into my hotel and took a short nap before I meet up with my friend for dinner and movie.

In January 2019, I flew to Berlin for the first time to simply check it out and made several friends, one of them in Mina who I met at "The Irish Pub" and we always kept in touch, thanks to "WhatsApp", and 8 months later we are reuniting for a dinner and movie date!!!

We actually was suppose meet up at her favorite Sushi Restaurant, "MIDO", LINK--->MIDO

back in January but Mina wasn't feeling well and cancelled so now we can finally meet up again!!!

As soon as I walked in, again am I in Berlin???  It is very well decorated with ZEN and balanced well with lighting and plants!!!

I must admit that MIDO definitely got it going very good.  I'm a sushi fan and I'm very picky and hard to impress when it comes to originality and creativity on any signature sushi rolls per restaurant.

 Everything about MIDO was very well received and I'm recommending this place as a "must go to eat" place for sushi!!!

Thank You Mina for introducing me to this amazing place, Kahealani will love this place too!!!

We watched "Ready or Not", a suspense film, Mina and I are horror movie fans and this is as close it could get, the film was actually good.

By now I am still tired from my early morning travels from Moscow and I'm so ready to go back to my hotel and sleep more because I have 2 more friends to meet up for brunch the next day.

Mina walked me close to my hotel and her subway station was pretty nearby.  Thank You Mina for spending time with me, even though it was only for a short visit, it's still means a lot to me.  I can't wait to see you soon, hopefully 2021!!!

I woke up early the next morning to meet up with my other friend, Sabina!!!  We are going to a Turkish Cafe for some breakfast!!!

 Maren also joined us and we all ate our delicious breakfast.  I ordered the "Eggs, Cheese, and Sausage" platter.  And their complimentary bread pretzels was fresh out of the oven and yummy!!!

My first Turkish Coffee ever, its STRONG!!!

 After our amazing meal, there was a nearby open market to visit and check out.

I'd drive it for fun!!!

The Open Market is very nice and they sell everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to butchered meats, and of course more sweet pastries and pies.  It was a nice morning for a walk around and browse.

 When it was time for me to return, the rain clouds were coming in and it was prefect timing for me to return.  Sabina escorted me back to my hotel by subway.

When we got off our stop, little did I know there was a nearby chocolate shop by my hotel, of course we had to stop and take a look!!!

There was an amazing display of Berlin's Monuments made of CHOCOLATE!!!

Amazing work of art, I can only imagine the hard work that is put into these amazing sculptures!!!

I did buy some to take back home along with my Russian Chocolates!!!

Another big Thank You to Mina, Sabina, and Maren for taking the time to spend the weekend with me in Berlin, I wish I could have stayed longer but I do have to return back to work in Alaska.  And to my Beautiful and Sexy Burlesques friends from "Kleine Nachtrevue", I'm so sorry for not being able to see you lovelies, because I have an 5:00 am morning flight to London.  When I do return, you lovelies will be the first on my Cuddle List!!!
