LAST WEEK I POSTED MY "A.L.S. ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE" AND RECEIVED OVER 1000 VIEWS WITH FEEDBACKS!!! AND NOT ONE OF THEM WERE NEGATIVE!!!
YOU FOLKS ROCK AND I WILL CONTINUE TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE THE WORLD ONE HEART AT A TIME!!!
OKAY... BACK TO MY WEEKLY UPDATES.
I AM BACK INTO TRAINING FOR ANOTHER 4 WEEKS AND I RECENTLY COMPLETED "WEEK ONE". IT FELT VERY GOOD TO BE BACK IN TRAINING AFTER A WEEK OF RESTING WHICH WASN'T EASY FOR ME TO ACCEPT AS I AM ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING FITNESS RELATED.
GETTING BACK INTO THE ROUTINE WASN'T EASY EITHER AS I HAD TO REINTEGRATE EVERYTHING BACK INTO MY BODY... LOL!!! I ALSO STARTED MY "JUMP ROPES CONDITIONING" CLASS AT THE COLLEGE GYM. OMG!!! THIS CLASS HAS TAKEN ME TO ANOTHER LEVEL AND I GOT MY BUTT WHOOPED!!! I'M NOT GONNA LIE... WHEN I FIRST WENT INTO CLASS ON DAY ONE, I WAS TERRIFIED AND INTIMATED AND FEARED THAT I WOULD COLLAPSED IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS. ESPECIALLY WHEN MY PEERS LOOKED WAY BETTER IN SHAPE THAN I WAS AND NOT TO MENTION THAT THEY'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR SEVERAL YEARS... YIKES!!!
AS SOON AS CLASS STARTED... IT WAS ON... I LISTENED TO THE INSTRUCTOR AND BLOCKED OUT EVERY NEGATIVE EXCUSES THAT WAS TRYING TO PUT ME DOWN.
WE DID A VARIETY OF EXERCISES AND STARTED WITH JUMP ROPING FOR ONE FULL SONG NONSTOP AND THEN HEADED INTO OUR "A.M.R.A.P. DRILL":
10-20 SQUATS
50 JUMP ROPES USING HEAVY ROPES OR 100 JUMP ROPES USING THE REGULAR ROPES
5-10 WALKING PUSH UPS
ONE LAP AROUND THE DESIGNATED ROUTE RUNNING UPSTAIRS AND DOWNSTAIRS
AND REPEAT FOR 30 MINUTES NONSTOP
AND THEN WE DO ANOTHER JUMP ROPING FOR AN ENTIRE SONG AND WE'RE DONE!!!
AFTER THAT CLASS OVER... THE ENDORPHINS WERE RUNNING CRAZY AND IT DEFINITELY FELT SUPER "AWWWESOME!!!" I WAS VERY PROUD OF MYSELF FOR BEING ABLE TO DO THIS BECAUSE I KNOW FOR A FACT, A YEAR AGO... I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THIS!!! "I WILL" ACCEPT AND GIVE "SELF GRATIFICATION" FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!
MY JUMP ROPES CLASS IS ON EVERY WEDNESDAY & SATURDAYS ALL THE WAY UP UNTIL MID DECEMBER!!!

AND FOR THIS WEEK... I START "AEROBICS" CLASS EVERY TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS ALL THE WAY UP TO MID DECEMBER!!!
LIKE I SAID EARLIER... IT ONLY GETS BETTER AND THIS WILL DEFINITELY PREPARE ME FOR MY UPCOMING "SPARTAN SPRINT RACE" IN MARCH 2015!!!
