ALOHA AND WELCOME TO MY PERSONAL BLOG!!! I THOUGHT WHY NOT SHARE MY PERSONAL GAINS & STRUGGLES THAT LIFE PUTS OUT TO EACH AND ONE OF US. I FEEL THAT THROUGH THE GIFT OF "GIVING & SHARING", THERE IS NO WAY BETTER THAN START THIS BLOG WHICH IS ALL ABOUT ME, MY OHANA (FAMILY), HOALOHA (FRIENDS), AND EVEN ENEMIES WHICH ARE THE VERY ONES I NEED TO LOVE AND ACCEPT.


I'LL SAY THIS STRAIGHT UP, I DON'T HOLD BACK MY FEELINGS FOR ANYONE AND IT'LL COME OUT OF MY MOUTH ON HOW I FEEL ABOUT YOU AND OTHERS. I DON'T GO BEHIND ANYONE'S BACK AND START RUMOURS WITH HOPES THAT IT WILL CIRCLE AROUND AND FINALLY HIT ITS TARGET. WHY TAKE THE LONG ROUTE WHEN I CAN GO STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. PERSONALLY, I THINK THAT IS THE "REAL" WAY OF LIVING LIFE, "BE REAL" AT ALL TIMES EVEN WHEN THE WORLD IS WATCHING.


ON THE OTHER NOTE, "I AM" THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE FROM THE WAY "I SEE IT". I AM NOT SPEAKING FROM OTHER PEOPLE'S FEEDBACK OR "CONCEITEDNESS". "THIS IS" WHAT I CHOOSE TO SEE MYSELF EVERYDAY WHEN I WAKE UP FROM MY BED AND THANK "AKUA" (GOD) FOR GIVING ME ONE MORE DAY TO LIVE, REGARDLESS OF REGRETS FROM THE "YESTERDAYS" TO THE FEARS OF "TOMMOROWS".

WHEW!!!  I JUST FINISHED MY 5TH WEEK AND I HAVE ONE MORE WEEK TO GO.  MAN I AM READY FOR THAT 1 WEEK OFF BEFORE I START ANOTHER 6 WEEKS - PHASE 02!!!  I AM REALLY FEELING THE BURN OUT AND I FEEL THAT I DESERVE A WELL NEEDED REST BEFORE I MOVE ON TO PHASE 02.

THIS HAS BEEN ANOTHER GOOD WEEK AS JANUARY HAS COME AND WENT...  OH I ALMOST FORGOT,

TODAY WAS ANOTHER SIMPLE DAY WITH "CARDIO & ZEN ENERGY" EXERCISES PLUS DANCE PRACTICE...  THE "MILONGA"!!!

THE DANCE KEEPS GETTING MORE COOLER AND FUN AND MORE CARDIO FOR ME...  LOL!!!

OTHER THAN THAT...  I FELT LIKE THE COLD WEATHER HAS BEEN TAKING A TOLL ON ME AS I'VE BEEN FEELING PRETTY TIRED AND PERHAPS EXHAUSTED FROM MY BUSY WORK SCHEDULES, EXERCISE SCHEDULES, AND NOW DANCE SCHEDULES TOO.




BUT I BELIEVE THAT ONCE I GO HOME FOR VACATION TOWARDS THE ENDING OF MARCH, I'LL BE IN FOR A VERY NICE RELAXED VACATION WITH MY OHANA, ESPECIALLY WITH MY KAHEALANI.

I CAN'T WAIT TO HOLD HER AND SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH EACH OTHER.

"PROJECT SYNERGY" - WEEK 05 - DAY 23.

ALOHA "TEAM AWWWRITE!!!"

TODAY I WORKED ON MY "BACK & ARMS", I'M PRETTY DRAINED AS I ADDED TWO MORE SETS WHICH ADDS 30 MORE MINUTES TO THE WORKOUTS.  BY THEN I FEEL THE "FATIGUE" TAKING OVER, WHICH IS A GOOD THING AS IT INDICATES THAT THE BODY IS WORKING HARDER AND THE MUSCLES ARE ALSO GROWING.

THANK GOD FOR POWDERED "WHEY PROTEIN" AND POWDERED "FIBER DRINKS".  BOTH ARE HIGHLY DEMANDED BY MY BODY BEFORE AND AFTER MY WORKOUTS.

THE POWER OF "VISUALIZATION".

THE POWER OF VISUALIZATION!!!
WHEN PASSION, INTENT, & WELLNESS ALIGN
Imagine yourself on a sandy beach on a warm, tropical island.  The sound of lapping waves roar gently in the distance.  A warm, gentle breeze lightly grazes your skin as you take notice of bright yellow birds in flight across the cloud speckled blue sky.  You lay down, close your eyes, take a deep breath and drink in the pure ocean air.  Now, how do you feel?  Perhaps a little lighter and more peaceful?

Quiet Your Mind With Visualization
It’s amazing how a few moments of visualization can instantly calm our minds.  The subconscious is unable to differentiate between fantasy and reality; it believes whatever pictures we draw on the canvas of our minds.  We can literally trick our subconscious into believing a figment of our imagination and elicit specific emotions and feelings about something that actually isn’t true.
The mind is much like a muscle in that, in order to relax, it needs to regularly release what it is holding.  By visualizing calming pictures, you are allowing your mind to release. It is like sending a message to your brain that when you close your eyes and begin this process it is time for letting go of anything that it has been mentally squeezing, such as worries and fears.  Visualizations can truly become your happy place.

Achieve Your Goals With Visualization
Purposeful imagination of pictures and scenarios to ground ourselves is just one great reason to use the power of visualization.  Another way visualization works is to manifest your desires into reality.  The ability to form a clear mental picture of what we want to be true in our lives is one of the most powerful abilities that a human being has.   There are three mental laws described below that support the idea of visualization to meet your goals. 

The Law of Belief
Brian Tracy, a renown author on personal achievement, says that whatever you believe, with feeling, becomes your reality.   You are the total result of all your beliefs in your life up until this moment.  Even if you have beliefs that are inconsistent with reality, the degree to which you believe it to be true, it is true for you.  This is so powerful in our lives that even if you believe and visualize something based on false information, it has an impact on the effects of our life either positive or negative.  If we have self-limiting beliefs regardless of reality, the degree to which we believe them they become true for us.
Napoleon Hill said, “Whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve.”  Life does not give us the power to imagine something without also giving us the power to make it true.  However, this also does not mean your desires come without lessons to learn, obstacles to overcome or hardships to endure.  You must be willing to pay the price to make your dreams come true.  Visualization of your goals is a vital step in bringing them into reality.

The Law of Expectation
Exhaustive research has been done in this area that supports the notion that whatever you expect, with confidence, becomes your own self-fulfilling prophecy.  People who enjoy high levels of accomplishments are continually talking to themselves as if they expect things to turn out well.  The reverse is also true.  People who have unhappy lives are thinking about and visualizing the future in a negative way.

The Law of Attraction
There are hundreds of books written on this subject.  Basically, it says that each human being is a living magnet – that we radiate thought energy and attract into our lives the people and circumstances that resonate with our dominant thoughts and mental pictures.  If we wish to attract different people and circumstances into our life, we must change our thoughts and visualizations.  This happens by law, not by chance.  We can improve the quality of our lives by manufacturing beliefs and expectations we wish to be true.

How to Visualize Your Goals
So, how do you start this process?  The key is to picture something you want in detail, exactly as you want it in your mind.   You can do this exercise for a variety of short or long-term life situations, such as throwing a party, having a job interview, before a conversation with a loved one or making your desired dollar amount per year.  Find a quiet place, close your eyes and relax for a few minutes.  Picture yourself in your mind’s eye with the ideal outcome of your goal.  For example, if you are going to give a presentation, imagine yourself standing at the front of the room and the audience clapping, rising to give you a standing ovation with smiles wide across their faces.  Your subconscious will adhere to that clear mental picture you imprinted in your mind and go to work giving you the words, posture, intonation and gestures you need to elicit a strong positive response from the crowd.
As Albert Einstein said, “Your imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions.”  The good news is the conscious mind can only hold one thought at a time, and you get to choose those thoughts.  Use this to your advantage and visualize only what you want to feel, be, have or do.  Whether you use the power of visualization to calm your mind or bring your goals into reality, with regular practice you will inevitably gravitate towards your dominant thoughts and feel the subsequent emotions whether positive or negative.  What are you going to visualize today?  It’s entirely up to you.

ANOTHER RELAXED DAY WITH "CARDIO & ZEN ENERGY".

THE WEATHER HAS WARMED UP A BIT BUT STRONG WINDS BRINGS IN THE CHILL FACTOR...  BUT STILL...  IT'S BETTER THAN SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES.

SPEAKING OF TEMPERATURES...  BEFORE I WORKED OUT TODAY IN MY LIVING ROOM, MY ROOM TEMPERATURE WAS 63 DEGREES.  AFTER I WAS DONE WORKING OUT, THE ROOM TEMPERATURE WENT UP TO 65 DEGREES!!!  THAT'S PRETTY SWEET IF YOU ASK ME!!!  MY BODY TEMPERATURE RAISED THE ROOM TEMPERATURE BY 2 DEGREES.  THAT'S ALOT OF HEAT GENERATED FROM MY BODY WHICH MEANS ONE THING...  I'M BURNING CALORIES LIKE A FURNACE!!!

"PROJECT SYNERGY" - WEEK 05 - DAY 21

ALOHA "TEAM AWWWRITE!!!"

WEEK 05 HAS BEGUN AND I ADDED TWO MORE SETS AND IT'S GRUELING ON THE BODY.  I'M REALLY FEELING THE FATIGUE AFTER THE 5TH SET, I BETTER BUMP UP MY CALORIES INTAKE TOO.  I HAVE TO ADMIT, OVER THE LAST FEW DAYS, I ATE WAY UNDER MY REQUIRED CALORIES INTAKE.  IT'S FUNNY THINKING THE LESS YOU EAT THE BETTER THE WEIGHT LOSS, BUT I LEARNED THROUGH EXPERIENCE THAT YOU HAVE TO EAT THE RIGHT FOODS FOR ENERGY SO THAT IT'LL GIVE THE BOOST TO WORKOUT LONGER AND BETTER.  OTHERWISE WHEN YOU CONTINUE TO EAT LESS THINKING YOU ARE LOSING WEIGHT, WHICH IS PROBABLY TRUE, BUT YOU ARE MORE THAN LIKELY TO LOSE "MUSCLE WEIGHTS" THAN "FAT WEIGHT" WHICH HAPPENS ALOT TO PEOPLE WHEN THEY "STARVE THE BODY" BY EATING LESS THAN YOUR REQUIRED CALORIES INTAKE.  SO BE CAREFUL AND BE SMART AND HEALTHY!!!

I'M VERY HAPPY TO KNOW THAT I'M LIVING A MUCH HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE!!!

WEIGHT TRAINING:

SUNDAY REST DAY + CHEAT DAY!!!
MONDAY CARDIO + CHEST & SHOULDERS
TUESDAY CARDIO ONLY
WEDNESDAY CARDIO + BACK & ARMS
THURSDAY CARDIO ONLY
FRIDAY CARDIO + LEGS & TRUNKS
SATURDAY REST DAY!!!

CARDIO TRAINING:  A COMBINATION OF RUNNING, AEROBICS, & CARDIO BOXING AT MODERATE INTENSITY FOR A TOTAL OF 30 MINUTES.

I CAN’T BELIEVE HOW FAST TIME REALLY FLIES WHEN I KEEP MYSELF BUSY WITH WORKING OUT, DANCE CLASSES, BEING INVOLVED WITH COMMUNITY EVENTS, VOLUNTEERING AT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND SO ON!!!  BUT I’M VERY GRATEFUL THAT BY KEEPING MYSELF BUSY, I FOCUS MORE ON MYSELF THAN SUFFERING BOREDOM AND LONLINESS.  SO LET’S SEE WHAT HAPPENED FOR ME DURING “WEEK 04”.

SINCE I ADDED THE “ZEN ENERGY” INTO MY “CARDIO DAYS”…  I REALLY LOVE IT AND I’M THINKING OF SIGNING UP FOR A “YOGA CLASS” AT THE LOCAL COLLEGE CAMPUS IF IT’S AVAILABLE DURING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY.  I’M ALSO MIGHT BE LOOKING INTO SIGNING UP FOR “ZUMBA FITNESS” WHICH IS ALSO AVAILABLE AT THE COLLEGE CAMPUS TOO.  I’M KINDA NERVOUS BUT I WON’T KNOW UNTIL I CHECK IT OUT FOR MYSELF.  SO I’LL BE KEEPING YOU FOLKS PSOTED ALONG THE WAY.
THIS WEEK IN BETHEL, ALASKA THE TEMPERTURE HAS DROPPED DOWN TO BELOW ZEROS!!!  YUP…  THE COLD HAS SLOWLY RETURNED…  LOL!!!  ON THE OTHER NOTE, ACCORDING TO THE WEATHER REPORTS AND PREDICTIONS, IT’S SUPPOSE TO WARM UP FOR ANOTHER 3 WEEKS WHICH RUNS RIGHT INTO FEBRUARY WHICH IS NORMALLY OUR COLD MONTH BEFORE SPRING SETS IN MEANING WARM WEATHER TO COME!!!  I CAN’T WAIT FOR THAT TO HAPPEN!!!

I HAVE 2 WEEKS LEFT ON MY “PROJECT SYNERGY” AND I’LL TAKE A WEEK OFF AND START ON PHASE 02 ON “PROJECT SYNERGY”.  IT’S ANOTHER 6 WEEKS LONG AND I’LL BE IN HAWAI’I TOWARDS THE END OF “PROJECT SYNERGY” WHICH MEANS I’LL HAVE TO CHANGE UP ON SOME OF THE EXERCISES WHEN I’M IN HAWAI’I.  SO I’M ALREADY PUTTING SOMETHINGS TO GETHER FOR THE LAST SESSION OF “PROJECT SYNERGY”.

MY OVERALL WEEK WAS “AWWWESOME!!!”  I ENDED MY WEEK WITH HANGING OUT WITH MY “TEAM AWWWRITE!!!” AND OTHER FRIENDS AT THOR & JO’S PLACE FOR SOME FUN AND SOCIAL.  MAHALO THOR & JO FOR YOUR GENUINE HOSPITALITY, I ALWAYS ENJOYED YOUR COMPANY!!!

I’M LOVING MY PROGRESS MORE THAN EVER AND I INTEND TO KEEP IT GOING FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.

AND FOR MY LEISURE FUN, I GOT A NICE SURPRISE FROM MY DAUGHTER, KAHEALANI!!!  I FOUND OUT THAT RECEIVED 4 AWARDS FROM SCHOOL FOR OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN ACADEMICS AND LEADERSHIP!!!  WAY TO GO SWEETHEART…  MOMMY & DADDY ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU!!!  WE BOTH MISS YOU VERY MUCH AND WE’RE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING SOON DURING THE SPRING BREAK!!!


I HAD TO CALL KAHEALANI AND PERSONALLY CONGRATULATE HER FOR HER HARD WORK AND DETERMINATION FOR BEING AN “AWWWESOME” ACHEIEVER.  SO WHILE I WAS SPEAKING TO HER TO, SHE HAD ANOTHER SURPRISE FOR ME.  SHE TELLS ME THAT SHE’S LEARNING TWO HAWAIIAN CHANTS FROM HER HAWAIIAN STUDIES CLASS.

I WAS MORE EXCITED TO HEAR THE “AWWWESOME” NEWS, BETTER YET…  SHE CHANTED FOR ME OVER THE PHONE!!!  SO HERE’S A VIDEO OF HER CHANTS ON SPEAKERPHONE…  ALL THE WAY FROM BEAUTIFUL KEAUKAHA, HILO, HAWAI’I TO BETHEL, ALASKA!!!


I AM TRULY BLESSED FOR HAVING KAHEALANI IN MY LIFE.  SHE IS THE REAL REASON WHY I CREATED THIS VERY BLOG…  TO SHARE “MY BEAUTIFUL LIFE”…  MY INSPIRATIONS…  MY PASSION…  AND WHATEVER AKUA (GOD) HAS IN STORE FOR ME.  I ACCEPT HIS WILL!!!

TODAY IS ALSO CHEAT DAY FOR ME WHICH MEANS…  I GET TO PLAY AROUND WITH FOODS AND TURN THEM INTO “BLAHHH FOODS” AND THEN ENJOY EATING THEM!!!  SO I MADE TWO DIFFERENT SALAD DISHES.




AND ONE MORE THING…  I WENT BACK TO MY DANCE CLASS STUDIO AND DANCED FOR 90 MINUTES TO FINE TUNE MY EAST COAST SWING STEPS!!!  EASY CARDIO FOR ME…  LOL!!!

AND THAT CONCLUDES MY WONDERFUL WEEK!!!  THIS COMING WEEK FOR MY WORKOUTS I WILL ADD TWO MORE SETS TO ALL OF EXERCISES WHICH MEANS I’LL BE DOING 9 SETS OF 13 REPS FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS OF “PROJECT SYNERGY” AND THEN I’LL POST A PICTURE OF ME AND COMPARE IT WITH MY LAST PICTURE FROM DECEMBER 2012!!!  KEEP ROOTING AND CHEERING FOR ME…  NO MATTER HOW FAR OR CLOSE YOU ARE…  I CAN STILL FEEL YOUR LOVE & SUPPORT!!!

08 – I GET AT LEAST 8 HOURS OF SLEEP.
09 – I FUEL MY ACTIONS WITH COURAGE, TRUST, & CONFIDENCE.
10 – I TRUST THE PROCESS OF “MY BEAUTIFUL LIFE”.
