PART 01
PART 02
The Ocean Day Hawai‘i Malama Kanaloa Festival at Hilo Pacific Aquaculture and Coastal Resources Center on Kalaniana‘ole Avenue in Keaukaha.
This free public event is focused on increasing awareness of coastal and ocean issues such as conservation, resource management and aquatic safety through fun, interactive displays, activities and booths. The goal is to raise public awareness of the impact people have on the environment, promote conservation and sustainable use of the ocean and coastal resources in a culturally sensitive way, and share current ocean and coastal research, management and education efforts here in Hawai’i.
KAHEALANI, MY COUSIN KU'ULEINANI, AND MYSELF ENJOYED THE EVENT AS THEY HAD LIVE MUSIC & HULA, AND "DA FAMOUS, BRADDAH POPS" ICE CREAM!!! I BELIEVE THIS HAPPENS ONCE A YEAR AND ITS FREE TO THE PUBLIC. I ALSO RAN INTO MANY FAMILIAR FACES AND NEW FACES.
AWWWRITE!!!
